We at Aquatic Dreams Scuba Center look forward to helping you get trained as a PADI Assistant Instructor. In training to become an Assistant Instructor, you will concentrate on developing your Knowledge Development (Classroom), Confined Water (Pool), and Open Water (Ocean) presentations to Instructor demonstration quality. As a PADI Assistant Instructor you will be able to independently conduct many PADI programs, or choose to go on to an Instructor Development Course (IDC). Course Prerequisites 
In order to become a PADI Assistant Instructor you must first already be a PADI Divemaster (or other qualification certification from another organization). You must be 18 years old and be certified in CPR and First Aid. You must also have certified for at least six months prior to starting the class.

Class Schedule 
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is conducted over an extended weekend period, consisting of three to four days.

What you will need to buy
You will need the PADI IDC Crewpak, along with  The Diving Knowledge Workbook, The Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, all PADI Diver Manuals (Current Additions), eRDPml and Recreational Dive Planners (Table). Purchase your IDC Crewpak from Aquatic Dreams along with the PADI Online Pre-Study and save $320 off the cost of your IDC Crewak. Your instructor will inform you of any other materials you may need.

What you may rent
You may rent the rest of your scuba diving equipment from Aquatic Dreams Dive Center. This includes your wetsuit, regulator, weight belt, buoyancy control device (BCD), and tanks. It is however best to learn and dive with your own diving equipment.

Medical Concerns or Questions:

If you are currently under the care of a Medical Doctor, or have a preexisting condition that requires permission from a Physician, you will need to have a Medical Release before any in-water activities.  It is required by PADI that all divers in professional level courses have a current physical on record within the last 12 month before the programs begin.  PADI Medical Release Form.

Adventure Diver

Want to take your diving to the next level but you are not sure? Well look no further! Become a PADI Adventure Diver today and start experiencing the exciting adventures the world of diving has to offer.

The Adventure Diver program is the perfect opportunity to gain additional experience and skills under the guidance of a PADI Dive Professional.

To become a PADI Adventure Diver, you will need your PADI Open Water certification (or other qualify certification) and the desire to experience thrilling adventures. This in-water performance based program includes a total of three dives.

If you're 15 or older, and a PADI Open Water Diver or other qualifying certification, then you're ready for the Adventure Diver program. Or, if you're a PADI Junior Open Water Diver or other qualifying certification and between the ages of 10-14, there's the PADI Junior Adventure Diver program.

After successfully completing the program, you'll receive the PADI Adventure Diver certification. Now, take the next step! Complete two more adventure dives (must include deep and navigation) and become a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

• PADI Adventures In Diving Manual* (included with course)
• Full set of Scuba Diving Equipment (rentals available)*
• Whistle, visual signal device, cutting tool. (Can be purchased at Aquatic Dreams)
• Other books and equipment may be introduced by your instructor depending on Adventures Dives chosen.

At your instructor's discretion, you can count your Adventures In Diving Dives towards other PADI Specialty courses, which will also counts towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification, see store for more details.

Advanced Open Water

You found it! PADI's Advanced Open Water Diver program fine tunes your dive skills and allows you to explore some of diving's top adventures. It's your dive - go for it!

The Advanced Open Water Diver program has something for everyone. This exciting program includes a total of five adventure dives.

If you're 15 or older, and a PADI Open Water Diver or other qualifying certification, then you're ready for the Advanced Open Water Diver program. Or, if you're a PADI Junior Open Water Diver or other qualifying certification and between the ages of 12-14, there's the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver program.

After successfully completing the course, you'll receive the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. This allows you to participate in more advanced diving activities with a maximum recommended depth limit of 30 metres/100 feet, in addition to the qualifications listed for PADI Open Water Divers.
